Vintage Style Dress Form

Hello!  I haven't been blogging or visiting much this week.  We have had bad weather (like most of the country) and I was a tad under the weather myself.  When I could, I squeezed in some thrifting and inspiration shopping.  I seem to find these dress form mannequins in bulk for some reason.  I found this pink one and I've got two more waiting their turns for makeovers.

I decorated her with vintage lace, seam binding a homemade tag and a parchment rose.  I also graced her with my hand painted roses and buds.

I am on a creating roll, so off I go.

I will be linking up today with:

Since I live in Florida cannot complain about snow. I am, however, happy to know you are feeling better, at least on your way there. Very cute post. Blessings.

Oh so beautiful. I am in sunny southern California visiting my family. I came here to get out of the snow and -30 below weather in Colorado. It feels like spring here, 70 degrees. Keep warm, Spring is around the corner.

Roselle...the biggest difference in WW with the Points Plus is that fruit is FREE (no points). Other things have higher point values now but so what. Fruit is FREEEEEEEE and that means if you get really in a pinch you can eat almost anything your heart desires in that category.

I just got fed up with carrying around the extra weight. I carry my extra pounds pretty well because I'm not tiny boned...but...I saw a picture of myself in September at a wedding and I nearly fainted. I looked bloated and puffy and NOT GOOD. Besides the appearance thing...I don't want heart disease. Both my parents have it and WHEN do we start caring if we will get it? When we are 70? 65? 60? 55? I'm 52 and I said "It's time to take care of your one and only heart" and so that is what I'm doing. Getting into smaller clothes and looking better (hopefully) is the added plus.

Love you girl~
