PINK SATURDAY SECOND BIRTHDAY PARTY

Happy Second Birthday Pink Saturday. A big shout out and THANK you to Bev for hosting this pinkalicious weekly "party".
This week I am showing yet another Homer Laughlin piece. This is the Eggshell Arcadia pattern. My absolute favorite! It's in a grouping with a sweet vintage silver and glass shaker. I filled the shaker with pink buttons and added a vintage pink ribbon.
The next picture is of a distressed pink corner shelf I painted. I added my roses to it. That pic you see is of my sweet Daddy and I circa 1967. The last picture is one of my awesome shopping finds. A pink enamelware set of canisters. They are so neat. I am going to add some of my roses and buds to them one of these days. So, that's it for today. Make sure you stop over at Bev's at http://how-sweet-the-sound.com/ to see all the other great Pink Saturday blog posts and don't forget to wish Bev a Happy Second B'day as host!
Since today is the drawing and announcement for the Cottage Charm Giveaway, I will be announcing the winner sometime this evening (EST). Thanks to everyone for following me and joining my giveaway! Check back later for the winner!!!!

Oh, Roselle, what beautiful pinks you've shared today! I adore that sweet pink shabby shelf with the precious pic of you and your daddy! Did you paint that rose on it, too? Just beautiful. I'm slowly collecting new items for a pink/black/white kitchen redo and would love to know where you got the enameled cannisters. I've got a couple of enamel pieces ~ 2 colanders, a bucket with scoop, and a utensil holder, but I really need some pretty cannisters, too!! Your Homer Laughlin plate is so pretty.

You asked how I made my mosaics. Got to bighugelabs.com and they make it so easy for you plus it is free! Write me again if you have any questions on how to do it.

Happy PINK SATURDAY!

Big TX Hugs,
Stephanie

I have some china with a similar rose pattern sans the pink bank around it. I found these plates in my parent's attic years ago. Happy PS!

Stephanie: I purchased those cannisters at a lovely shop near my home. It is called the Wicker Cottage. They do custom upholostry and sell tons of wicker items and home goods. They also have vintage goodies they find and sell. Those cannisters were a one time find (unfortunately for all of us!).

Yes, I painted the rose on the shelf...each of the shelves on that cute corner piece has a rose on it :)

Glad everyone likes my pinks! I am off to visit some of the other pink blogs!!!

Warm regards,
Roselle

I had to stop and comment since I have the same china by Homer Laughlin. I love the Marilyn pattern. I also have been collecting a few of the salt shakers at yard sales, but how do you clean them? I can't get mine clean. I am off to look around your very pretty blog!
